About me
My name is Monika, I am a Polish teacher.
I am Polish and I live in Warsaw now, but for some years I traveled the world and lived abroad (Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Senegal).
When I lived abroad, I started to enjoy giving private language lessons.
This experience inspired me to develop my skills and teach professionally.
After returning to Poland, I finished a professional postgraduate course and started working in language schools. From the start I was working very intensively, especially with small and large groups of students. I worked with students of all educational levels, from survival to advanced.
My students come from very different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, so I have learned to adapt my teaching to very different needs - which is always an amazing and important experience for me.
From April 2020, I started working online. It is a completely different kind of work, a great challenge but also a big inspiration for development. Online learning has many advantages and I think I have learned to use them efficiently.
Education
For several years I studied humanities at the University of Lodz (Slavic philology) and at the College of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (Polish philology, master's degree).
I have studied journalism, advertising, promotion and representation of the company, as well as editing and copywriting.
I graduated from Hotel Management at the College of Tourism and Hotel Industry in Lodz.
In 2019 I graduated from Glottodidactics in the Institute of Literary Research in Warsaw.
Experience
For several years I worked in the hotel industry.
